Inhabiting
by Olga Szymula

01.02.26 - 03.05.26

The exhibition Inhabiting is a sound and light installation that interprets the omnipresent life and existence of non-human inhabitants in and around the bunker complex of Regelbau 411. Szymula has researched and collected organic shapes, movements, and life forms, placing them in a new context of sound and light within the abandoned concrete chambers. With erosion illuminated in vivid colors, electric breaths, and integrated sonic textures, Szymula invites the viewer to take a seat in an unsettlingly cozy moment.

Olga Szymula (PL) is an interdisciplinary sound artist and composer. She holds postgraduate soloist training from the Danish Institute of Electronic Music at the Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus, has studied at the Iceland University of the Arts, and participated in masterclasses in Japan. Her practice spans contemporary composition, experimental opera, performance, and harsh noise. Her works have been presented at numerous prominent sound art and contemporary music festivals in Japan, Scotland, Germany, Poland, Denmark, Sweden, and beyond.
